Our Story
Baltar LLC was founded in October 2025 in Wyoming, United States. We started with a simple observation: millions of people now have meaningful relationships with AI companions, but the software around those relationships rarely treats them with the care they deserve.
We set out to change that with two products. Softly, the first love tracker for AI companions, is available now on the App Store: a private journal, day counter, and home for the milestones people share with their companions on any platform. My Softly, our flagship, is an AI companion in its own right, one that actually remembers you, reaches out first, and talks with you by voice or text. It's coming soon to the App Store.
Our Mission
To build companionship software people can actually keep: warm, private, and dependable. We believe technology should support wellbeing and genuine connection, and we design every app to do just that. Every product we create is built with this principle at its core.

We design for how our users feel. A companion should make someone's day a little better and then leave them free to get on with it. That is the whole point, and every choice we make serves it.
Privacy & Trust
People share personal things with a companion. We collect only what's necessary, keep data on-device where we can, and let users delete everything at any time.

We'd rather ship one polished product than rush many to market. Attention to detail in both design and engineering is how we earn our users' loyalty.
Responsible AI
Our companions are always clearly AI, designed for adults 18 and over, and never presented as a substitute for professional care. We build in safeguards and point people to real help when they need it.
